Sunshine is the new movie directed by Danny Boyle, who is well known for Trainspotting, 28 Days Later and Shallow Grave. So while he is producing 28 weeks later he isnt directing it, however he is directing Sunshine which looks like it could be great. Rose Byrne(Who is also in 28 weeks later), Chris Evans Cillian Murphy and Michelle Yeoh are all in the movie as part of the crew of Icarus 2.
The basic plot is that the seven crew member of Icarus 2 leave a freshly frozen earth, caused by solar winds. Their Job is that they must re ignite the dying sun to save the rest of the humans on earth. The trailer itself doesnt give much away other than the very basic plot outline, however it does look very cool and that definately counts for something, usually Danny Boyle has some nifty character relationship embroiled in his movies and i doubt this will be any different in Sunshine.
